Maddie is a Stockjudging Champion

by Simon Gee on 27 July 2022.

After an enforced break of two years, the British Charolais Society was able to hold their Charolais Youth National Stockjudging final again at the weekend, kindly hosted by the Walter family of the Balthayock Farm in Perth.

UK Sires Breeding Advisor Maddie Clarke emerged triumphant in the Senior Class and wins a trip to the Charolais Championship Final in Moulins, France. Competitors had four classes of four animals each to judge and the top 10 competitors were asked to give their reasons on one class to the master judge Iain Millar of the Lochend herd.

Congratultions to Maddie.
