An exciting opportunity is available for a Breeding Advisor at UK Sires, based in south Devon and founded in 2001. It is the largest fully independent EU-licensed bull stud and semen store in the UK.
We are uniquely placed to offer semen from over 50 different dairy and beef breeds; these currently include many British-bred bulls and the very best imported dairy genetics supplied by GENEX in the USA, Synetics of France/Germany, KI-Kampen in the Netherlands and others. These premium suppliers give us the best genomic and proven sires that we feel meet the needs of British dairy farmers. We also have access to the world's leading calcium bolus - CAL24 plus MAP+ mating programme and genomic testing.
As we continue to increase our business, we require an enthusiastic, tenacious and adaptable telesales professional to join our team. You will need to have the ability to assess and record farmers’ needs for dairy and beef genetics and provide them with appropriate bull recommendations. We will provide you with a database of existing customers and prospects.
This is a home-based role so self-motivation and drive are important. Interest in and experience within the livestock industry are essential.
